THE UNTETHERED SOUL, BY MICHAEL A. SINGER

When I first started my journey with self-improvement, growth, and the process of deepening my spirituality, The Untethered Soul was an instrumental tool. This is a book about “freeing yourself from limitations and soaring beyond your boundaries”, and I have to say, that’s a good summary of my review.

The Untethered Soul remained with me long after I finished reading it. It taught me to look inwards for answers and to tap into a higher level of consciousness. For all those starting out on their journey, I highly recommend this book.

IT ENDS WITH US, BY COLLEEN HOOVER

I’m not much of a fiction reader, and so it takes a really incredible fiction book to find its way onto my favorites list. It Ends With Us hit home for me and my personal life in so many different ways. I laughed, cried, and reflected on many elements of who I am and my relationship with myself.

This was one of those books that swept me off my feet at the exact moment I needed it. For anyone struggling in their intimate relationships, and especially if you’re working to free yourself from generational patterns, It Ends With Us is phenomenal.

THE THIRD JESUS, BY DEEPAK CHOPRA

Deepak Chopra was an instrumental player in my spiritual journey. While I was raised religiously and Christian, there was a point in my life when I wanted to seek out more answers for myself. I wanted to develop a more personal, intimate relationship with my own spirituality and understand divine teachings on a deeper level.

The Third Jesus is the book I recommend most often to those who want to take their spiritual discovery seriously and wrestle with important, existential questions. It was transformative for me, and I think it will be for you, too.

TOP 2 REALITY-ALTERING films

INCEPTION

I will never forget my first encounter with this film. Well on my way in my own journey, I found many books, articles, and speakers that challenged the way I perceived the world around me. I was addicted to that kind of content at this point. I wanted to push the boundaries of what was possible and feel connected to deep spaces.

Inception is a film that changed everything for me. If you want to really find out why I love it, you’ll have to reach out so we can chat, because I could go on forever. Basically, it taught me that reality isn’t always what it seems, and going deep within ourselves is the key to everything.

THE NOTEBOOK

There is not much to say about this incredible film. While it needs no introduction, I have to tell you the reason why I chose to include it on this list.

I’m a romance connoisseur, which means I’ve seen every Nicholas Sparks film and read all of his books. It also means I’ve branched out far beyond his content and devoured my fair share of romantic movies. The Notebook is by far my favorite one. There is something magnetic about the intense intimacy, the push and pull between the characters, and their fiery, true love.
